    ❤️ Playing for a Purpose

This special tournament is being held in partnership with the Walker County Youth Alliance.

50% of every tournament registration fee will benefit the Walker County Youth Alliance.

By registering to play, you're not only competing for a championship — you're helping support an organization working to educate, prevent, and bring awareness to issues affecting young people in our community.

Additional opportunities to support the Walker County Youth Alliance will be available during the event.

    🎮 How the Tournament Works

This fundraiser will use a special accelerated UNO tournament format designed to provide competitive tournament play while allowing all three age divisions to compete on the same day.

    🏁 Pool Play

    • Every player participates in two Pool Play games.
    • Pool Play is used for Championship Elimination seeding only.
    • No player is eliminated during Pool Play.
    • Players are assigned to tournament tables.
    • Each round has a 20-minute time limit.
    • When time expires, the current hand is completed before scores are recorded.
    • No new hand will begin if less than two minutes remains on the tournament clock.
    • Pool Play standings and tournament tie-breakers determine seeding for the elimination stage.

    🏆 Championship Elimination

After Pool Play, every player advances into the Championship Elimination stage.

    • The elimination field is seeded according to Pool Play results.
    • Every registered player participates in the opening elimination round.
    • The field is reduced to the Top 8 players.
    • The Top 8 compete across two semifinal tables.
    • The Top 2 players from each semifinal table advance to the Championship Table.

    👑 Championship Table

The final four players compete at one Championship Table.

Final placement at the Championship Table determines the division's tournament champion.

No cash or merchandise prizes will be awarded. This tournament is being held as a community fundraising event benefiting the Walker County Youth Alliance.

    👨⚖️ Tournament Director

The Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust table assignments, seeding, advancement procedures, or tournament structure based on the final number of registered players to maintain fair competition and accommodate fields between 8 and 20 players.

All Tournament Director decisions are final.
