Ready Set Fun Entertainment's Dominoes Cash Series brings together players from across Walker County and beyond for an exciting day of competitive head-to-head play, guaranteed Pool Play, and championship-level competition.

Whether you're a seasoned Dominoes player or simply love a great game, the Cash Series offers a professionally organized experience built around strategy, sportsmanship, and community.

A minimum of 12 registered players is required for the tournament to be held. Registration is limited to 16 players maximum, so early registration is strongly encouraged.

Every registered player is guaranteed multiple Pool Play matches before advancing into the Championship Bracket, giving every player the opportunity to improve their tournament seeding before competing for the championship and the $200 GUARANTEED CASH PRIZE.

Following the tournament, players are invited to stick around for Casual Open Play, making the Cash Series more than just a tournament—it's a full day of games, competition, and community.

The Ready Set Fun Dominoes Cash Series uses a two-stage tournament format designed to guarantee every player multiple matches while rewarding consistent performance throughout the event.

🏁 Pool Play

• Players are assigned to Pool Play groups.
• Every player is guaranteed multiple Pool Play matches.
• Matches are played to 100 points or a 30-minute time limit, whichever comes first.
• If time expires, the current hand is completed before the winner is determined.
• No new hand will begin if less than two minutes remain on the tournament clock.
• Pool Play standings are determined by:

  • 📊 Score Differential
  • ⚖️ Tournament Tie-Breakers (if necessary)
• All players advance to the Championship Bracket.
• Pool Play standings determine Championship Bracket seeding.

🏆 Championship Bracket

• Players are seeded into a Double Elimination Championship Bracket based on their Pool Play performance.
• Players must lose two matches before being eliminated.
• Championship matches follow the same 100-point or 30-minute format used during Pool Play.
• If an elimination match remains tied after the final hand, a sudden-death hand will determine the winner.
• The final remaining player is crowned the Ready Set Fun Dominoes Cash Series Champion.

🎉 Casual Open Play

Following the championship presentation, the venue will remain open for Casual Open Play. Players are encouraged to stay, enjoy the atmosphere, meet new competitors, and continue playing throughout the evening.

👨⚖️ Tournament Director

The Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust Pool Play assignments, Championship Bracket seeding, or tournament structure based on the number of registered players to provide the best tournament experience. All Tournament Director decisions are final.

📜 Tournament Rules & Policies

• Registration is FREE, but registration is required to reserve a spot.
• A minimum of 12 registered players is required for the tournament to be held. If fewer than 12 players are registered, the tournament will be canceled and the advertised cash prize will not be awarded.
• Tournament play uses standard Double-Six dominoes and Ready Set Fun's Block Dominoes rules.
• Each player begins a hand with 7 dominoes.
• There is no drawing during play.
• Players must check in before the scheduled check-in deadline.
• Players arriving after Pool Play begins may forfeit their spot.
• Matches are played to 100 points or a 30-minute time limit, whichever comes first.
• If time expires, the current hand is completed before the winner is determined.
• No new hand will begin if less than two minutes remain on the tournament clock.
• When a player plays their final domino, they score the total number of pips remaining in their opponent's hand.
• If a hand becomes blocked, the player with the lower remaining pip total wins the hand and scores the difference between the two players' totals.
• If both players have the same remaining pip total on a blocked hand, neither player scores.
• Good sportsmanship is expected from all participants and spectators.
• Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
• The Tournament Director reserves the right to make rulings on situations not specifically covered by these rules. All Tournament Director decisions are final.

How much does it cost to enter?

Nothing! Registration for the Dominoes Cash Series is FREE. Registration is still required to reserve one of the 16 available player spots.

Is the $200 cash prize still guaranteed even though registration is free?

Yes. If the tournament meets the 12-player minimum and is held, the $200 winner-take-all cash prize is guaranteed. The prize amount does not change based on attendance once the minimum requirement has been met.

Do I need a partner?

No. The Dominoes Cash Series is an individual head-to-head competition. No partner is required.

Can I register at the door?

Yes. If space is available, registration will remain open until the tournament reaches its maximum capacity of 16 players. Advance registration is strongly encouraged because registration is free and space is limited.

Are beginners welcome?

Absolutely! Players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate.

How are players seeded for the Championship Bracket?

Every player advances from Pool Play into the Championship Bracket. Pool Play standings determine each player's seed based on match wins, score differential, and tournament tie-breakers if necessary.

What happens if time expires during a match?

The current hand is completed before the winner is determined. No new hand will begin if less than two minutes remain on the tournament clock.

What happens if a match ends in a tie?

During Pool Play, a tied match is recorded as a tie. During Championship Bracket play, a sudden-death hand will determine which player advances.

What happens after the tournament ends?
