How the League Works
The Fall 2026 Dominoes League is a 12-week season, consisting of 11 regular-season league nights followed by the League Championship.
Players compete in 3 head-to-head matches each regular-season league night against different opponents.
League matches are played using Double-Six Block Dominoes.
Each player begins a hand with 7 dominoes. There is no drawing during play. Players alternate matching the open ends until one player plays all of their dominoes or the hand becomes blocked.
Matches continue until one player reaches 100 points.
There is no time limit during regular-season league matches.
Scoring
When a player plays their final domino, they score the total number of pips remaining in their opponent's hand.
If a hand becomes blocked, both players count their remaining pips. The player with the lower total wins the hand and scores the difference between the two totals.
If both players have the same pip total on a blocked hand, the hand is a tie and neither player scores.
Season Standings
Standings are determined by:
1. Win Percentage
2. Head-to-Head Record
3. Point Differential
4. Total Points Scored
Players must complete at least 25 regular-season matches to qualify for the League Championship.
League Championship — December 8
Eligible players will be seeded for the Fall 2026 Dominoes League Championship based on their regular-season standings.
Championship matches are 30 minutes or first to 100 points, whichever comes first. If time expires, the current hand is completed and the player with the higher score advances.
Championship play will use a double-elimination format.
Your $60 registration covers the entire Fall 2026 season and League Championship eligibility. There are no weekly league fees.
