Community Event Specialist

Position Overview

Ready Set Fun Entertainment is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and relationship-driven Community Event Specialist to represent our brand at local events, build partnerships, and generate new business opportunities. This role focuses on expanding community presence, strengthening local relationships, and driving bookings through direct engagement.

The Community Event Specialist serves as the face of the company at schools, churches, festivals, corporate events, and community gatherings.

Key Responsibilities

Community Outreach & Relationship Building

  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, churches, nonprofits, and local businesses
  • Identify and secure sponsorship and partnership opportunities
  • Attend networking events and community gatherings
  • Develop referral partnerships with event planners and venues
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with community contacts

Event Representation & Brand Promotion

  • Represent Ready Set Fun Entertainment at community events and festivals
  • Set up promotional booths or display inflatables (when applicable)
  • Engage with potential customers and collect leads
  • Distribute marketing materials and promotional offers
  • Capture photos and videos for social media marketing

Lead Generation & Sales Support

  • Generate and track leads from events
  • Follow up with prospects to encourage bookings
  • Assist with promotional campaigns and seasonal offers
  • Coordinate with office staff to convert leads into confirmed reservations
  • Track conversion rates and community engagement performance

Event Coordination Support

  • Assist with planning promotional events or hosted community activities
  • Help coordinate logistics for large public events
  • Provide feedback on event performance and opportunities for improvement
  • Occasionally assist with event setup or breakdown if required

Marketing & Brand Development

  • Help strengthen brand visibility in Jasper and surrounding counties
  • Identify local marketing opportunities
  • Collaborate with Marketing Lead on campaigns
  • Encourage customer reviews and testimonials

  • Basic understanding of marketing and sales

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in event coordination, sales, marketing, or community engagement
  • Background in hospitality or event rental industry
  • Knowledge of Jasper, Walker County, and surrounding communities
  • Social media content creation experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry 50–100 pounds occasionally
  • Standing for extended periods at events
  • Working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Assisting with light setup and teardown when needed
