Position Overview
Ready Set Fun Entertainment is seeking a reliable, hardworking Delivery Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for the safe delivery, professional setup, inspection, breakdown, and pickup of bounce houses and event rental equipment. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, punctual, and committed to providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and unload bounce houses and rental equipment
- Lift, carry, push, or hold equipment weighing 100+ pounds (with team assistance when required)
- Set up and properly secure inflatables according to safety standards and company procedures
- Conduct thorough equipment inspections at delivery and pickup to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper function
- Break down, deflate, clean, and pack equipment after events
- Ensure all inflatables are properly anchored using stakes, sandbags, or approved anchoring systems
- Review setup area for hazards and confirm safe placement
- Provide basic customer instructions on equipment safety and usage
- Complete delivery and pickup checklists accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and warehouse
- Report damages, safety concerns, or customer issues promptly
- Assist with minor maintenance and cleaning of inflatables and equipment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and maneuver 100+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (if operating company vehicle)
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work weekends and evenings (events are often on Saturdays and Sundays)
- Team-oriented mindset
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Experience with bounce house or event rental setup
- Experience driving a truck and trailer
- Basic mechanical knowledge
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Working in heat, cold, or light rain
