Security Deposit Policy

Ready Set Fun Entertainment LLC

At Ready Set Fun Entertainment LLC, a security deposit IS required for certain rental items to help protect against loss, damage, excessive cleaning, or late returns.

1. DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT

  • A security deposit may be required depending on:
    • The type of equipment rented
    • The total value of the rental
    • Whether the rental is customer pick-up or delivery
  • Deposit amounts will be disclosed at checkout and listed in the rental agreement.

2. FORM OF DEPOSIT

  • Security deposits are typically collected as:
    • A credit or debit card authorization (hold), or
    • A refundable charge, depending on the rental item
  • The payment method used for the rental must be valid and authorized at the time of deposit.

3. USE OF SECURITY DEPOSIT

The security deposit may be used, in whole or in part, to cover:

  • Damage beyond normal wear and tear
  • Missing or stolen equipment or accessories
  • Excessive cleaning or sanitation requirements
  • Late returns
  • Violations of rental terms or safety rules

4. DAMAGE & CLEANING CHARGES

  • If damages or excessive cleaning are identified, the customer will be notified and provided with an itemized explanation.
  • Charges will be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the payment method on file.

5. DEPOSIT RETURN TIMELINE

  • Deposits or credit card holds are typically released within 24 hours after equipment is returned and inspected.
  • Processing times may vary depending on the financial institution.
  • If additional time is required to assess damages, release of the deposit may be delayed.

6. PARTIAL OR NO REFUND

  • If the cost of damage, loss, or cleaning exceeds the deposit amount, the customer agrees to pay the remaining balance.
  • If no issues are found, the full deposit or authorization hold will be released.

7. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

  • Customers are responsible for equipment from the time of pickup or delivery until return and inspection.
  • Equipment must be returned clean, complete, and on time to avoid deductions.

8. DISPUTES

  • Any disputes related to deposit deductions must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of notification.
  • Ready Set Fun Entertainment LLC reserves the right to provide documentation, including photos, to support charges.

9. POLICY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By completing a reservation with Ready Set Fun Entertainment LLC, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Security Deposit Policy.
